| Uptown Praise Band, Grand Rapids, MI has been chosen as a top ten finalist in "BEST of the BLESSED" talent competition sponsored by TBN and United One Productions. 1st prize is $3,000, 2nd prize is $2,000 and 3rd prize is $1,000. The top ten finalist also get free recording time in TBN recording studios. The competition is an american idol style where each band plays a single four minute song in front of industry judges.
