| Hoboken, NJ – L&X have signed a worldwide administration deal with international rights management company, Missing Link Music. L&X are the masterminds behind the J. Cole single “In the Morning” featuring Drake. Initially presented to the rapper in 2007 with other L&X tracks, Cole was instantly attracted to “In The Morning’s” unique sound. Cole, a longtime friend, linked up and recorded on the L&X beat The single passed through the mixtape circuit, and after hearing the track, Young Money’s Drake expressed an interest in dropping a verse on the already buzz-worthy hit. L&X hit the producer’s chair in 2009, and the song was remixed with J.Cole supplying an additional verse, Drake performing an impassioned guest rhyme, with a dynamic infusion of live piano and bass instrumentation. With the streets most talked about collaboration still buzzing, the Friday Night Lights mixtape was released in 2010. The melodic beat struck ears of tens of thousands and the single soared into the pop stratosphere, propelling it to one of the most talked about songs on the internet. "In The Morning" is now a signature part of the official debut album by J. Cole entitled "Cole World: The Sideline Story" released on September 27, 2011 by RocNation/Columbia.
