Critics hail Tony Visconti as one of the most important producers in the history of rock. And for once, the critics are right. Consider just a few of the classic musical moments Visconti's helped to create. Rex's "Get It On (Bang A Gong)" is a true cornerstone of rock and roll. David Bowie's "Young Americans," "Heroes" and "The Man Who Sold The World" are masterpieces. The Moody Blues' "I Know You're Out There Somewhere" and "Your Wildest Dreams" are indelibly etched into our memory. And there are so many more, including recent albums by bands such as the Kaiser Chiefs.
