Bay Area songwriter Deborah Crooks has released a new music video for her Americana-infused pop song ‘Let’s Move.’ Filmed, directed and edited by Sarah Fisher of Blue Lotus Films in Oakland in September, and edited amid the recent Occupy protests, Crooks and Fisher sought to highlight the need for consciously inspired action in a time of upheaval. The result is a piece informed by the recent Occupy Oakland and Occupy Wall Street movements and Crooks’ studies of Ashtanga Yoga and Buddhism. The video features Crooks as well as members of her band and yoga community.

The song was written by Deborah Crooks and co-produced by Oakland producer and bassist Ben Bernstein for her latest full-length CD “2010.” The video is available on YouTube at https://youtu.be/3U7rdTB0qn8
