Tuning into one of Sheena Metal's radio shows makes it clear she welcomes a wide variety of human behavior. "We have great guests from almost every profession you can name," notes Ms. Metal. "I love talking to people with interesting points of view, and the shows go from irreverent to wild to humorous to observational to down-home good sense," she says about her work on LA Talk Radio.

With three programs on the air a total of 14 hours a week, Metal is one of the busiest voices of the station, which is both a live and an iTunes destination for listeners interested in interviews, commentary, outrageous viewpoints, humor, the social scene, "and interactive demonstrations of what makes people tick," Ms. Metal adds with a smile.

Her "Music Highway" program airs on Thursdays from 2-4 p.m. A hybrid of music and talk, the show is now in its sixth year. "Every music genre is welcome on the show," Metal says, "but we are focused on the independent artists who give new voices and new sounds to the world."

The "Sheena Metal Experience" airs Monday-Friday 5-7 p.m. Pacific Time with a show that "rips the veil off the human sideshow to expose Homo sapiens in all their glory," notes Metal. This is talk radio the way it was meant to be: unscripted, unpredictable, and equal parts hilarious and humanistic. Each week, she interviews movie stars, TV icons, Broadway legends, studio heads, writers, doctors, chefs, shark experts and ghost hunters…just to name a few.

Sheena Metal also teams up with Danielle Egnew to co-host the new "Haunted Playground," a cornucopia of ghosts, monsters, aliens, the paranormal and other things that go bump in the night. "Haunted Playground" airs on Tuesdays from 3-5 p.m.
