Pepper Mashay Wins For Best Dance Category At The Hollywood Music In Media Awards Event

On thurs., Nov. 19th, international dance music diva Pepper Mashay (http://www.Myspace.Com/frecklebandit) won the best dance category for her indie hit "Does Your Mamma Know (You're A Freak) at the Hollywood Music In Media Awards 2009 (HMMA) [http://www.Hmmawards.Com]. Unfortunately, she was unable to attend because of illness. "Staying at home was not what i had in mind, but when you have a cold, you've got to take care of yourself and not get others sick" says Pepper.

She was told she had won the award by friends who were text messaging her on their cell phones. "I would have liked to have been there to see one of the premier events of the year take place at the highlands in the world famous Kodak Theater Complex in Hollywood, CA". The red-carpet event featured live performances, award presentations, and a VIP dinner and reception. "I want to thank everyone who was involved in giving me this award and i'm truly grateful for the hmma in recognizing indie artists.

The very talented Pepper Mashay is set to perform at "the next music group holiday event" at Rage Night Club 8911 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, CA. on Dec. 14th. The event starts at 7:30pm. I will definitely sing my latest song "freeway of love" plus there will be a surprise for everyone to see.
