What was the first single you ever bought? For the record, pun intended, mine was Spin Doctors - Two Princes.

I think the first single I ever purchased was N-n-nineteen, Not Out by Rory Bremner!
But the first ever single I got my grubby little hands on was the theme tune to the Spider-man cartoon show - my father owned a record store and it took him to source it from the States.

Spiderman's far too acceptable - I'll have to take Rory Bremner as your first purchase.

Wasn't yours actually Chesney Hawkes, Isaac, or is that my bad memory?

I distinctly remember having 'Bad' by Michael Jackson but I think that was a present. The first one I actually bought may have been the Beautiful South. Possibly. Those are hazy days.

Aha! That was the album, Buddy's Song, that I bought, not the single.

If I had to guess your first single, I'm afraid to say, Jabhead, I think that Los Del Rio's classic Hey Macarena might be a contender...

I am not ashamed of that.

I think you're right, I remember it also contained a poster of those two handsome gentlemen which I cherished.

Too cool, too cool. I had that album, alongside Dangerous, Off The Wall and the best of The Jackson 5 on tape too. And the Turtles movie soundtrack.
Too bad it's singles - so 'fess up Ghostwheel, what was your first single?

That's so cool it makes me sick to my gut. I hate you Ghostwheel, for making me look bad.
