Whilst reading around for some Hallowe'en music inspiration, I read a recommendation by Battles' Tyondai Braxton about this freaky little composer, Gerard Grisey.
His work is the basis of spectralism, which is a branch of composition which less music, more sound evolving through time...
It's unsettling stuff.
